I'm giving this review 1 star, not reflective of ink, but that still waiting for orders placed Jan 2-3 to take advantage of Loyalty Pre-Launch and $20 gift card with purchase of new release.
I added in this ink, which described as "Light Copper with Duochrome green/pink shimmer" matching Carousel Pen of same name that wanted to try the "new and improved" promise of, took chance on and turned out more of warm chocolate brown. I'm still hopeful, and looking forward to receiving ink. I do have other colours similar that enjoy as core hue in all art mediums. The ink promises lovely possibilities for someone that enjoys experimenting with brush and pen, painting and sketching. It was only after purchased and received the pen that the name sunk in, as tend to ignore meaningless nonsensical marketing descriptions, and skim over to not fill mind with others crazy fantasy delusions that warp our outlook, and values as society.
I saw large bottle discounted substantially as part of "final batch" stock clear out, and added to order instead of small size of another, to meet minimum free shipping requirement and make non-essential purchase make sense economically.
As anyone who has reached out to FWP with questions or in need of assistance knows, FWP biggest issue and challenge is their lack of accessible timely customer service! I can attest, that has not changed!
I did finally hear back, after numerous attempts and back and forth emails with multiple representatives that suspect "off shore" from timing, and almost two weeks after first email request for help, after invested lot of time not have to spare to point out and provide proof of many errors in assumptions, on January 15th representative responded to concerns, promised to dedicate self to address, apologized for "frustration, pain, and inconvenience" experienced, acknowledged "absolutely right to feel the way you do", and "deeply regret the trouble this has caused you". And started to address concerns, added on missing bonus points for launch gift card promo, triggered the missing review option for orders, confirmed contradictory info on website regarding loyalty points inaccurate, advised corrected, passed on account login issues plus to webteam to address, and started to investigate missing orders that had received confirmation shipped and noted that tracking weird. Rep advised, the "tracking reflects packages were damaged in transit. We have already reached out to our fulfillment center to understand the situation fully and to expedite a resolution for you. Once we receive their response, we will ensure you are fully compensated to your satisfaction." I responded, thanked, clarified situation again, including that appeared larger issue had occurred involving mistake in tracking provided, not tracking format, not active, no way to followup up, and believe that as result order got lost in limbo in system with no way for customer to reach out for help. I have not heard back with update since, nor received shipment yet looking forward to and watching out for, and hope not miss out on limited stock, that price increase, promotions and sale of depleted further in delay in response time. I am working with, despite that not only challenging but painful experiencing accessibility issues, as sincerely really want Canadian company and brand to succeed, successfully address challenges, become truly Made in Canada in all ways, make us economically strong, environmentally sound and resource sustainable, and lead way to Make Canada Great Again, as a leader in quality ink and pens, as in our not so distant past and long history as a formerly Great Nation admired and envied by many that came here as result to benefit from, and more that never knew, or know what means and takes to achieve.
