Freshly Squeezed Sunshine

I actually reviewed this before but I bought myself a second bottle because somehow I didn’t screw the bottle tightly and it got tilted and poured all over my desk. I didn’t notice until I approached my desk after busy days out of my home and found the dang bottle nearly empty and yellow everywhere. I rebought this new bottle and it broke during delivery due to the polar vortex. Thankfully customer service also sent me a brand new one that I will gladly use when my first bottle runs out (the broken bottle ink was actually stored in a Ziplock bag, but poured into the nearly empty bottle as refill when the bag broke).

As the title states, this is so much better than I was anticipating and I thank a fellow reviewer here for showing the nice swatch that made me cave in. I was very disappointed using Pentel Energel’s barely visible yellow ink throughout the years so this one blew my expectations out of the water. I look forward for future restocks in case my one runs out down the road!

I was in need of a yellow ink and this is absolutely gorgeous

I love how vibrant the yellow is and being able to make multiple shades of yellow by layering the ink. Definitely a favourite!

I am extremely pleased with the density of the pigment in this ink. In looking at the photo of the bottle, I thought it may be weak, but I was wrong and it is very deep and beautiful You can see in my swatch that the lower edge has almost an orangish hue to it. It is a lovely color!

Bright lemony yellow.
Just add sugar to make lovely lemonade...
