gorgeous

When I first put this ink to paper, I worried it was a touch too dark, but it blended out into a lovely colour. It flows very nicely for writing and layers well for painting. Perfect

Colour not as advertised

I love Ferris wheel press ink and generally I’m really impressed but I found this colour completely different then shown on the web page or the bottle labels. It’s more a dark grey purple, similar to a really bad bruise. I will still by ink from Ferris wheel press but I will be much more careful in choosing colours!

Misleading

It's a pleasant colour, but by no stretch of the imagination is this purple. It's grey. Bears little resemblance to either the packaging or the sample pictures. One anticipates a little difference due to monitors and so forth, but this is very disappointing.

What a wonderful complex ink

I love what I think are vintage colours from Ferris Wheel Press. Before I begin using it in my pens or with my brushes, I dab colour onto paper and add water to watch it bloom across the paper. Once dried, you can see all the various plays of colour within that one ink. This is why I love Ferris Wheel Inks...they have such vibrant complex colors that look vintage at first glance.
