Every Carousel fountain pen comes equipped with its own ink converter, ready to be filled and refilled all over again with your favourite Ferris Wheel Press Ink.

Care instructions

Filling/Changing Ink Colours:

  • Unscrew to remove the barrel from the grip section and access the converter.
  • Place the fountain pen nib fully into warm water. Flush the nib by twisting/untwisting the converter until the water runs clear.
  • Allow 1 day to dry.
  • Fill a new colour by fully submerging the nib and feeder into the ink, then draw the ink into your pen but twisting the converter until you’ve reached the top position.

Notes:

  • For heavily saturated inks and darker tones, or clogged nibs, you may need to soak the grip/feeder in water overnight
  • It is normal for some air bubbles to enter the converter when refilling ink

Fine

The pen is overall fine - it’s a budget pen at a budget price. I was impressed by the nib quality; however, I don’t like the hexagonal grip and the pen is too light in my opinion.

Pretty but poor quality

I am an experienced fountain pen user and decided to add a few FWP pens to my collection to use with my new collection of FWP inks. I am very disappointed in the quality of these pens. The lid for this green pen is virtually impossible to remove. It does write nicely but overall is very poor quality compared to other pens in this price range. I will not be purchasing any more pens from this company. I have contacted customer service but have not heard back.

This is my fourth Carousel pen, and I must say that this is one I like the most. Certainly it's bang for your buck!

Caurosel Fountain pens fine nib

I ordered the fine nib which does not go well with the beanstalk ink and I find it a bit scratchy. I wish I had ordered the medium or bold nib. The colour of the matching ink is delicate and woodsy but does go well with a fine nib.
