Once Upon a Design

Tucked away in a cosy corner of Ginza Tsutaya Books, amongst twisting shelves and book-lined passageways, you will find a gently lit section devoted to vintage books. Magnificent tomes and petite manuscripts of creamy aged parchment and delicate washi line the shelves, nestled among a curated collection of curios, waiting to be discovered by the next passerby. A bibliophile’s dream, here you can hold history in your hands as you admire the craftsmanship of yesteryear.

Notable Design Details:

  • Explore the vintage book corner in Ginza Tsutaya Books shop in this sequel to Bookkeeper’s Brass.
  • A studious Canadian polar bear browses the shelves alongside her friend the majestic Elk. Spot the adorable Red Panda as he naps amongst the vintage publications, and keep your eye on our studio mascot, Pumpkin the cat, as he lurks through archives.
  • Inspired by the colour of aged parchment.

This ink is stunning! It is perfectly light enough to use in my journal. The colour is creamy and foows nicely through the pen.

Nice light brown, would be better with some shimmer

Edit: this was initially for my BFF but I ended up wanting to keep this and gave her the Writing Desk ink instead. I got this for free from the Everything is Better in 3s deal. I prefer shimmer inks but am keeping this for my Ginza Tsutaya collection that I amassed.
